Nephrology & Dialysis

Nephrology is the subspecialty of internal medicine that focuses on diagnosis, evaluation & treatment of kidney disease. Because the kidney performs so many critical functions, nephrologists have expertise in treating primary kidney disorders and management of the systemic consequences of kidney dysfunction associated with multiple organ dysfunction.

The Nephrology & Dialysis Department deals with patients suffering from Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Critical Care Nephrology, and Post Kidney Transplant follow ups. We deal with a wide spectrum of diseases leading to CKD such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Glomerulonephritis, Renal Calculus Disease and Genetic Renal Disease.

We have 5 ultra-modular fully computerized Fresenius Hemodialysis machines & a well equipped dialysis center with state of art monitors, central oxygen, a team of trained nurses & technicians working round the clock under the supervision of a qualified nephrologist.

We perform OPD & IPD hemodialysis, SLED/plasmapheresis in critically sick patients in ICU. In addition, we do kidney biopsy & dialysis related vascular access procedures.
