Audiology is the study which deals in identifying and evaluating hearing and balance disorders that are associated with adults, children or infants.
Audiologists work with patients of all ages who encounter hearing and balance disorders and provide adequate rehabilitation and management. Audiologists often work with other medical specialists such as scientists, educators and allied health professionals and technicians.
Audiologists at SNH are well qualified and experienced who undertake all kinds of hearing tests like Newborn hearing screening, BERA, Impendace, PTA, Speech therapy, Voice therapy etc. They have a vast experience about all types of hearing aids, from the most basic standard to the latest advanced options.
Each patient requiring audiology services will go through a comprehensive assessment based on which a treatment plan is planned as per the patient needs using the latest and advanced technology.

Speech–language pathologists (SLPs) provide a wide range of services, mainly on an individual basis, but also as support for individuals, families, support groups, and providing information for the general public. SLPs work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. SLPs collaborate with other health care professionals, often working as part of a multidisciplinary team. They can provide information and referrals to audiologists, physicians, dentists, nurses, nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, rehabilitation psychologists, dietitians, educators, behavior consultants.
